Another Source’s client, Pomona College, is recruiting a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join their Advancement team. What you will be doing:

Join the University Advancement team at Pomona College as a Senior Salesforce Administrator for the Division of Advancement, where you’ll play a key role in steering their CRM management through an exciting transition from Raisers Edge to Salesforce. Leadership Opportunities: Lead a team, drive technical solutions, and shape the user experience as a vital player in our University Advancement’s technological evolution.

 

Competitive Compensation: Anticipated yearly salary range of $120,000 – $125,000, reflecting commitment to recognizing and rewarding top talent.

 

Responsibilities:

CRM Leadership:

Lead testing and approval of changes, ensuring alignment with business units and stakeholders.
Administer daily operations, ensuring operational redundancy and resolving performance issues promptly.
Lead upgrades and planned outages in collaboration with division staff.
Security and Permissions:

Coordinate with Advancement Technology on CRM permissions, maintaining robust security protocols and access control lists.
Data Integrity and Analysis:

Analyze data and design business processes to support CRM data integrity.
Develop solutions to enhance CRM performance and user experience.
Training and Integration:

Design training solutions for CRM applications, facilitating onboarding and reboarding activities.
Integrate the CRM system with various databases and applications, fostering collaboration with stakeholders.
Development and Customization:

Develop intuitive UI using Lightning Web Component framework, Visualforce pages, and controllers.
Implement customization and configuration changes, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and more.
Marketing Cloud Management:

Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud, developing groups and training materials to optimize its functionality.
Team Leadership:

Hire, assess performance, enhance professional development, and mentor staff, contributing to an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
System Updates and Migrations:

Plan and execute system updates, patches, and version migrations, minimizing disruptions to data availability and functionality.
What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business administration, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required. Master’s degree a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of CRM Administration experience with increasing responsibility is required.
A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required. Experience at a higher education institution preferred, experience using Salesforce and/of UCI’s Ascend preferred
Deploy professional skills in CRM Administration, in collaboration with colleagues, to best promote the College’s strategic interests.
Must also assist and communicate well with parents, students, alumni, volunteers, community partners, and other possible stakeholders.
Operate computers proficiently with basic Microsoft Office software (such as Word, Excel, Outlook) and associated professional software such as SQL, Tableau, Cognos, Jenzabar, CX CARS, Raiser’s Edge, and Salesforce.
Handle all activities and highly confidential information with patience, discretion, good judgment, courtesy and tact while working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Define and prioritize realistic/specific goals and objectives, perform multiple projects/tasks, meet deadlines/timelines/schedules, solve problems, respond to others in a timely manner, and work both independently and as a collaborative member of the College with a high standard of integrity and ethics, in support of the College’s strategic vision and the division’s/department’s annual goals.
