A&S provides a liberal arts education of tremendous breadth and depth to nearly 22,000 students while advancing research and serving as a resource for the community. The College is made up of four academic divisions: art, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

The Executive Director is responsible for advising College leadership on all communications strategies and messaging, including branding, marketing, media relations, advertising, and social media. This position will lead and execute effective strategies and communications vehicles to engage the College’s internal and external audiences.
Most Immediate and Overarching Goals
- Supporting the Dean of the College with communication to internal audiences, including crisis communication, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the College’s marketing and communications team
- Developing strategic communications with donors and potential donors to help ensure overall fundraising and campaign success, including showcasing the impact of philanthropic giving
- Developing strategic, student-focused marketing and communications efforts to increase enrollments in and build affinity for all four divisions of the College, maximizing enrollment capacity overall
